Unless you've been living in a cave for the last decade, you know that the Internet has been one of the most revolutionary technical achievements of the 20th Century. Even people without a computer see company websites advertised on everything: television ads, newspaper ads, letters and postcards in your mailbox, business stationary, and business cards. "WWW" is in your face - every way you turn. But your business is a "brick-and-mortar" business. With a local clientele, you probably think having your own website is a waste of time and money. After all, your customers are down the street, not across the country. What do you need a website for? On the other hand, maybe you do (or did) have a website, but it hasn't had any effect on your business. This is the case for many, many local businesses. You bought the hype - built the site - and nobody came. Just more money, down the drain. But think of your website as a tool. You can use a tool to make a great, functional piece of furniture (for instance), but unless you know how to use it correctly, and a plan to follow, more than likely you'll be very disappointed with the results. This is the problem faced by many local businesses with websites. They don't know the correct way to use their websites, and they don't have a plan to follow; to get more potential customers to their site, and to keep current customers coming back. Sharon Fling, one of the few, true experts on local business marketing techniques, has written "Bringing Brick-and-Mortar Businesses Online", a great little e-book that tells you the right way to market your local business online. She also includes several real-life success stories and articles that tell you exactly how other local, or "brick-and-mortar" businesses are successfully growing their businesses using their websites. Download "Bringing Brick-and-Mortar Business Online" today, and learn the secret to marketing your local business on the Internet - and leave your competition in the dust!
